Today is the DAY!

1.12.2011

You guys have no idea how excited I am to meet my little niece Naomi and for Micaiah to meet her, too. The Dixons finally made it to Columbia last night around 9 pm. They were on a 4:30 flight on the plane, when Delta took them off and made them wait til 7:30 pm! Thankfully, they arrived tired and hungry, but safe!

In just a few hours, Cai and I are going to head over to the Traylor's house for the rest of the day. I've got a Pea Salad to make, finish wrapping some Christmas presents, and to get us ready to head out.

In other news, I think Micaiah is well again! He's adjusting well to sleeping in his crib and not the carseat at night, although I still nap him in his carseat during the day. I feel like since he eats during the day it helps him to not spit up so much to sleep in a sitting up position.

I was reflecting on past journal entries when found this excerpt from my journal when I was in Hawaii this past summer sitting on the balcony pregnant with the sun brillantly shining over the sparkling water... Now, the moment is finally here!

Lord,
Thank you for Micaiah growing inside of me. Hart and I are so excited about this blessing. Forgive me for being slow to understand the Heritage you are giving to us. We love Cai with all our hearts. I pray no harm will cometo him, me, Naomi, or Hannah while on this trip. Protect us from any pain or problems by your power. Help Cai and Naomi grow into people that love you with all their hearts! I pray that these cousins, so close in age, (What a miracle!) would be close in heart to each other. That while they may be separated by miles they would always be close to each other. Thank you for my adoring husband that loves me so much. Please allow me to be the loving wife he needs. I love him so much, Lord. Please keep him safe and allow our family to grow together in the bond of unity always.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
