Pour it Out!

"Trust in Him at all times. O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." Psalm 62:8



I was reading this Psalm and this was one of those verses that just stood out to me. I have been meditating on it ever since. God is telling me here that he wants me to pour out my heart to him. I just imagine holding my heart, full of all the things that I worry about, and dumping it out before him, like tipping over a pitcher full of water. He wants me to always trust him. At ALL times. He is my refuge. My safe place. I can trust him.



Pour out your heart before Jesus. This is what prayer is. Let him know the things in your head and heart. Tell him your thoughts. Let him know you. And I have the feeling that he will fill you back up with living water that will make you never thirst again. He is doing this for me, and I just praise his Holy Holy Name!
