Fall Leaves

11.05.2012

***We've discovered that FB changed servers, so all of our photo links from FB for the 1st 2 years of our baby's life are currently missing from the blog. Thank God, I'm married a computer genius who understands how to go in and change things inside of html and links and is working on fixing all of our blog posts. This upset has caused me to be motivated to clean out the virtual closet, work on posting things that need to be posted on this blog, and overall make a printed blog book like yesterday! Thanks for bearing with us, as we work on this blog!***

I love the simple joy of Fall leaves. They remind me of the beauty of God.

I'm loving seeing Fall through a 2 year old's eyes.

All new and crunchy under foot. Bliss and stomping joy.

This 2 year old. Oh, how he clings to that thumb and blanket. These leaves that remind me of our fallen state before God. How I cling to those things that so easily entangle. How I long to be comforted by other things not from God alone.

We forget the joy in letting God take all that is dead and dry.

He fills us with his Spirit; with joy, love, peace, patience, gentleness, and self-control. May we seek him in this family this Fall, give him our brokenness, and let him replace it with the joy of Christ alone.
