I grew up eating this cold salad and it is perfect for those hot summer days when you can cut the heat with a knife!
MaMa's Pea Salad
1 bag frozen peas (thawed)
small purple onion, diced (can substitute regular onion)
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
creamy ranch dressing (or mayo, seasoned), enough to coat
salt/pepper to taste
opt. (but really tasty) dill weed
Mix it all together and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
